Rocha Department (Spanish: Departamento de Rocha) is a first-level administrative division of Uruguay, located in the southeastern part of the country along the Atlantic coast. It is bordered by the departments of Maldonado to the west, Lavalleja to the northwest, and Treinta y Tres to the north, while its eastern and southern boundaries are formed by the Atlantic Ocean and the Río de la Plata estuary. The capital of the department is the city of Rocha.
