Hibernian Massif

Hibernian Uplands are a major physical landscape of Ireland, made up mainly of very old rocks formed during the Caledonian and Hercynian mountain-building events. They are located mainly along the western, southern, and south-eastern parts of Ireland and include mountain ranges such as the Wicklow Mountains, MacGillycuddy's Reeks, and the mountains of Donegal and Connemara.
