Old Worcester Turnpike



Worcester Turnpike was a 19th century toll road that ran from Boston, Massachusetts, west to Worcester, Massachusetts. At one time, a milestone inscribed To Boston, Line 1 M, 1810 was set in the retaining wall in front of the Comins School on Tremont street, near Roxbury Crossing in Boston.
