Darius Adams Sr

Darius Adams was born in Pomfret, Connecticut, and later settled in New York, where he became the patriarch of a large Adams family whose descendants spread across Chenango and Ontario counties. Married to Mary White, he raised eight children and contributed to the early settlement patterns of upstate New York. A distant relative President John Adams, Darius Adams is buried at South Plymouth Cemetery in Chenango County. - AsNotedIn
