The Brick House was a notable Progressive Era manor located on Noroton Point (Long Neck Point) in Darien, Connecticut. Completed in 1903 for the prominent banker and philanthropist Anson Phelps Stokes, the sprawling brick residence was designed by his son, architect Isaac Newton Phelps Stokes, and famously served as a summer retreat for industrialist Andrew Carnegie. In 1924, the estate transitioned into a prestigious girls' boarding school operated by the Convent of the Sacred Heart, educating notable alumnae such as Eunice Kennedy Shriver.
