Great European Plain is a large expanse of land on the European continent where most of the topography is below 152 meters (500 feet) in elevation. The relatively flatland extends from France through England, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia and Russia. Many natural harbers and navigable rivers, including the Elbe, Oder, Rhine, Vistula and Weser facilitate transportation of heavy items and the mild climate makes it an advantageous to grow a variety of crops which greatly enhance human development. - AsNotedIn
