Dunkard's Bottom site
- Address: 4400 State Park Rd
Located several miles from the current New Dublin Presbyterian Church and now under Claytor Lake, the lost village of New Dublin was situated on the 37-acre New Dublin tract near Dunkard Bottom on the New River. Established by the early 1770s, New Dublin was the only village in present-day Pulaski County during the eighteenth century. James McCorkle and William Christian operated a store here in the early 1770s. New Dublin was mostly deserted by the 1830s and had vanished by the 1880s. - AsNotedIn
