Ann Stanyarne Gibbes was a South Carolina colonist, born to planter John Stanyarne and his first wife, Mary Whitmarsh. In 1753 she married Robert Gibbes, and they had one daughter, Mary, born in 1758 and later the wife of Thomas Middleton.
