Sarah Stanyarne Raven

Sarah Stanyarne Raven was a South Carolina colonist, born into the Stanyarne family of Johns Island and Kiawah Island. She married Charleston merchant William Raven, with whom she had several children, including Elizabeth Raven Vanderhorst. Through her inheritance and family connections, she linked the Ravens to the extensive Lowcountry holdings of the Stanyarne estate.
