Arnoldus Vanderhorst

Arnoldus Vanderhorst was a colonial South Carolina landholder, born in Charles Town to John Vanderhorst and his wife Margaret. He married Elizabeth Simons and, after her death, was later married to a second wife, Sarah. His 1764 will — proved in February 1765 — left Vanderhorst Island in Christ Church Parish, enslaved people, and other property to his under-age children, with his brother Elias Vanderhorst and several associates named as executors. - AsNotedIn
