Arick Lemuel Lore was a Maryland-born US Army soldier from a family of fish packers. He served with Company I, 60th Infantry, 5th Division during World War I and trained at Camp Greene before deploying to France, where he was killed in action in the Meuse department, less than a month before the armistice was signed.
