American
Ernest Woodyatt was an American architect trained at MIT who entered the profession through Chicago's influential firm Burnham and Root in 1894, aided in part by his family connection — Daniel Burnham was his uncle, and the Woodyatts lived across the street from the Burnhams in Evanston. Active in Chicago's architectural circles, he was a member of the Chicago Architectural Club and served as an officer in 1905. - AsNotedIn
