Charles F Haglin was an American architect-contractor whose Minneapolis firm shaped the city's late-19th- and early-20th-century built environment. Trained in New York and Chicago, Haglin entered Minneapolis practice with Franklin B Long in 1873, later partnering with Frederick G Corser before forming major contracting firms including Haglin & Morse, Haglin-Stahr, and eventually C F Haglin & Sons. His companies erected landmark structures and numerous industrial works across the Midwest. Late in life his sons joined the partnership; he died in Long Beach, California, in 1921. - AsNotedIn
